Synastry is the practice of comparing two people’s birth charts to show the chemistry, strengths, and challenges in their relationship.
Not going to lie, I was itching to see the synastry between Kevin Gates and Brittany Renner (using their sidereal charts ofc).

Brittany’s North Node (Rahu) Conjunct Kevin’s Moon
In synastry, this is a flag, whether red or green is another conversation, but it's undeniably a highly emotional, magnetic, and karmic connection. Based on this aspect alone, there’s no doubt they’re deeply drawn to each other. On the downside, this conjunction can heighten emotional dependency and imbalance. In their case, it may show up as Brittany pouring into Kevin’s emotional cup without receiving the same nourishment in return.
North node is a highly karmic planet, and here, the karma centers around emotional growth, attachment, and evolution. Kevin likely feels emotionally fulfilled, understood, and intimately connected to her purpose, desires, and direction in life.
This aspect typically plays out best when the Moon is the feminine partner and the North Node is the masculine. In their case, it’s reversed. That means Kevin may feel emotionally expanded, even addicted because her North Node on his Moon is like an emotional amplifier, leaving him wanting more.
That’s what the North Node does in synastry—it expands whatever it touches.
From Kevin’s (the moon person) perspective, this feels like: “I feel safe with you. Deeply understood by you.”From Brittany’s (north node person) it’s: “Your emotional nature aligns with what I’ve always envisioned for my life.”
This placement can also carry that “right person, wrong time” flair. The kind of connection where you meet, part ways, grow, and maybe find your way back when the timing’s right. Justin and Hailey Bieber have north node connections and we all know that video of them meeting years ago having no idea they'd one day be married. Similarly, there’s a video of Brittany Renner interviewing Kevin Gates some time ago, clearly fascinated by him.
Scorpio Heat: Moon, Mars & Saturn
Brittany’s Moon is in Scorpio.
Kevin has both Mars and Saturn in Scorpio.
Moon + Mars = off-the-charts chemistry. This is primal, raw attraction, the kind that makes people baby-making machines (think Ciara and Russell), or creates passionate chaos. Or both.
Moon + Saturn = restriction, responsibility, emotional boundaries. She may feel like he both fuels and shuts her down emotionally. It’s hot and cold, magnetic yet confining, and ultimately emotionally taxing.
With his Mars and Saturn both hitting her Scorpio Moon, Brittany may feel simultaneously empowered and restricted. Sexy? Yes. But in the long run, it can be stressful.
Capricorn Conjunctions: Venus, Mars & Ego Management
Kevin: Sun, Mercury, Venus in Capricorn
Brittany: Mars, Venus, Saturn in Capricorn
Their Venus-Venus conjunction means shared love languages: loyalty, stability, and practical love. Capricorn venus says “I love you” through action, consistency, and stability.
But Brittany’s Mars and Saturn conjunct Kevin’s Sun, Venus, and Mercury add pressure. Her assertiveness (Mars) and maturity/control (Saturn) might weigh on Kevin’s ego and communication style. He might feel critiqued or managed. She may come across as bossy, controlling, or “too serious,” sparking defensiveness.
That Mars-Mercury conjunction can be grounds for petty debates. Arguments over food orders, philosophy, you name it because his communication (mercury) might hit a nerve for her (activate her mars).
Jupiter Opposite Jupiter
Kevin: Jupiter in Aquarius (with Brittany’s Sun & Mercury)
Brittany: Jupiter in Leo
This combo brings optimism, mental stimulation, and “let’s grow together” vibes. Around him, Brittany may feel bolder, brighter, and more mentally alive because her sun and mercury are being touched by his jupiter.
But the Jupiter opposition can complicate things.
While they boost each other, they may also have very different belief systems.
“I love you, but why do you think like that?”
Oppositions in synastry can work if there’s mutual respect. But if either has rigid values or non-negotiable beliefs, it becomes “We just don’t see the world the same way.” With Jupiter involved, it’s not just taste, it’s worldview, ethics, and even spirituality.
In Closing, A lot of these aspects cut both ways:
Moon–North Node: He feels expansive, she feels overwhelmed.
Mercury–Saturn: She feels structured, he feels stifled.
Jupiter–Sun: She feels brighter, he feels wiser.
There’s growth potential here but also real risk for resentment. The dynamic reflects that classic therapy moment when one person says, “I thought we were doing great,” and the other replies, “I’ve been miserable for months.”
Same dynamic. Different experiences.
But what can I say, that’s just how relationships go.
